Maratha Kranti Morcha was started in the year 2016. It was started together by various Maratha organizations and groups. Maratha Community is a major and main community in Maharashtra. So why this brave community now doing protest by organizing rallies? Maratha Kranti Protest mainly started after the unfortunate incidence of rape and murder of Maratha girl. This morcha started as Maratha Kranti Muk Morcha which was silently organized rallies in all districts of Maharashtra.
Maratha Kranti Muk Morcha got a huge response from all Maratha public. Lacs of Maratha people participated in each rally. There were total 49 rallies organized all across Maharashtra. Biggest morcha was organized on 9 August 2016 in Mumbai. Maratha community from all districts gathered in Mumbai for Maratha Kranti Morcha.
