Sanjay Kothari Wiki/Biography
Sanjay Kothari was born on 24th June 1956 on Uttar Pradesh. As we wrote above, he is from Haryana Cadre of 1978 batch.
Currently, he is the head of country’s CVC (Central Vigilance Commission).
He did his Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in “Physics:. After this, he did M.B.A from the University of Hull.
Mr Kothari has served as a District Magistrate in Gurgaon. He also served as a Home Secretary in the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Along with this, he also served in several other important positions.

Additionally, he served in the Ministry of Tourism, Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Pension Departments.
From the year 2014, he is serving as a Secretary, Government of India, Public Grievances and Pensions, Ministry of Personnel, Personnel and Training Department.
In his career, around 15 years in the Tourism field at state, as well as central level. Sanjay Kothari published over 30 articles on the development of the city, subjects relating to tourism, and administrative reforms.
In 2007, he wrote a book, named Good Governance Initiatives and Reforms.
Recently, on Saturday, 25th April 2020, he got appointed as the Central Vigilance Commissioner. His name was suggested by a panel of high-level selection lead by Hon. Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
